Hello!

My name is Shorter McCook. I was born in Macon, Georgia. Currently, I am in my second year at the University of Georgia located in Athens, Georgia. I have two older siblings and two dogs who I adore! I am pursuing a degree from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. My major is public relations with a minor in general business and a minor in sports management. My portfolio showcases the beginning of my journey in design and public relations, each reflecting my commitment to learning more about my field while also increasing my experience in other areas. I believe that technical and creative skills are a fundamental part of the mass media industry and build on critical thinking. I am a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America, which I hope to become more involved in this upcoming school year. Outside of school, you'll often find me hanging out with friends, reading, or watching baseball and Formula One!
